The project explores contemporary interior architecture through clear geometry, careful organization, and refined detailing. Within a compact 60 sq.m.,
the space is organized around a continuous wooden frame integrates function and shapes the pharmacy’s identity.
Spatial Organization
The layout follows a central axis that guides visitors from the entrance to the service counter at the back. Perimeter shelving forms a stable architectural backdrop, creating a cohesive boundary around space.
Freestanding islands are positioned to structure circulation and define distinct product zones, while maintaining openness and visual continuity.
The counter marks the end of the axis as a solid, grounded volume within an otherwise light and transparent environment. Its linear form and vertical slatted cladding emphasize rhythm and depth,
reinforcing the spatial perspective.
Form & Materiality
The formal language is restrained and geometric. Rather than relying on decorative elements, the design focuses on the clarity of surfaces and the honest expression of materials:
The contrast between warm wood and cool grey tones creates a controlled, balanced atmosphere.
Lighting Strategy
Lighting is treated as an architectural device rather than an accessory. Linear ceiling fixtures reinforce the geometry and direction of movement, while integrated shelf lighting enhances depth and product visibility.
Concealed lighting at the base of the counter adds a subtle sense of suspension, visually lightening the volume.
Architectural Identity
The overall expression is rooted in contemporary minimalism, with references to Scandinavian restraint and functional clarity.
Calm, precise, and thoughtfully composed, the space transforms a typical retail environment into a carefully structured architectural interior.
The result is a modern urban pharmacy — clear, timeless, and quietly refined — where architecture supports functionality while elevating the everyday user experience.
